Pre-ARR

-Born one year after the Garlean Empire started it's rampant expansion of the sorounding environs.-Born to a powerful mystic of the Village and is tested to find that he did possess vast amount of aether, though his use was limited as he was born with the Frenzy and as such was not fit to become a Mystic of the Tribe.-After 10 years of neglect, he would finally be identified as a boy and as such would be ejected from the village with all other boys around his age during the next mating cycle.-Talvarr survived only barely for three days on his own in the jungles until another Jack found him and took him under his wing, teaching Jack all the skills of a Warder he would need to know.-10 years later and now 20 years of age, Talvarr has undergone his final test to become a Warder of the Jungles.-Would serve as Warder of the Reyktur Village for 30 years, having pushed back plenty of Garlean incursions. Until he was caught by a band of Dalmascan Slavers.-Would remain chained for a few days until he was given the chance to kill his captors and free himself, by then it would have been too late, removed from the jungles and cut off from the Green Word, Talvarr had no other choice but to escape or risk capture once more.-During the Year 1572 of the Sixth Astral Era, Talvarr would be wandering the streets of Doma, far away enough to not be effected by the Calamity in person, but close enough to hearing of a falling moon and rampant chaos. The Seventh Umbral Era, unbeknownst to Talvarr, had begun.-Five years Talvarr would spend on the run from Imperials who have taken hold of Doma, escaping to Kugane and taking the first ship he could find to Eorzea.

A Realm Reborn

-Landing in Limsa Lominsa, Talvarr would be assaulted by the crowds and the city proper. Talvarr had not liked Doma, but he liked Limsa Lominsa even less, he fled the city almost immediately to make his way into the wilds that sorounded the city.

Heavensward

-Completely ignorant of the politics of the city-dwellers, Talvarr, after much travel finds himself in the Shroud.
-Immediately feeling at home in the Woods, feeling closer to the Green Word then he had in many years, Talvarr made his home within. Acting as its Warder, a Warder without a village.

Stormblood

-Having made his home within the Woods, Talvarr would enact the Shrouds vengeance upon all who would harm it, be they Poacher or Cultist alike.
-Having spent many months doing so, the death toll would be unmistakable and Talvarr would become wanted. Though no one knew his face, race or even name.

Shadowbringers

-Much stayed the same for the many months or years that passed. Talvarr carving himself a burrow within the Shroud to hide away whenever he needed rest or time to be alone.

Endwalker

-Only recently Talvarr has found the company of the Covenstead... well more accurate is to say that he was dragged out of hiding and then welcomed.-Talvarr's early skepticism would melt away quickly as he was met with open arms and comradery.-Feeling once more at home, Talvarr has since pledged his Services to the Covenstead and has become their Warder.

The Village of Reyktur

Location:

Deep in the Heart of the Gelmorran Jungle, at the foot of a Great Tree the Village has dubbed 'The Mother Tree'. Sorounding the Village would be a wall of bramble and thorns, making entry nigh impossible unless the mystics allow it, which they rarely, if ever do.

Traits and Traditions:

-MysticsMany traditions would seperate these Viera from the other Villages, their Reverence for those capable of shaping the mist in the form of spells being one.-Giants
The Viera of the Reyktur Village are giant, even among Viera, towering over their fellow sisters by one or two fulms.
-Communal Family
All young are raised together by the entire Village, the children still know who their mothers are, but the entire Village acts as one family raising the children together.
-Rite of Passage
A tradition that effect only the boys. All share the same Rite, when they are old enough to be identified as boys, usually 10 years of age, they are gathered and banished into the jungle during the next mating cycle, where they need to survive three to five days in the jungles by themselves with naught to aid them but their own hands and the clothes upon their backs.
-Coming of Age
Once a Viera reaches their 4th Cycle (20 years of age), they are given a task to prove themselves adults in the eyes of their peers, this varies greatly depending on your chosen profession. As boys can only ever be Warders, their trial is always the same, they need to keep watch over the Village for a entire week without being caught. If successful, they become Warders in their own right, are properly marked and set loose upon the Jungles. If caught, the boy is considered a failure. The punishment of which is the removal of a ear and banishment... or the more usual punishment, death.
-Unseen Warders
Warders are to only be seen during the time of the mating cycle, they are to be the unseen and faceless protectors of the Village. If seen by a woman of the Village outside of their mating cycle, the Warder is considered a failure and punished much in the same fashion as if he had failed his Trial of Adulthood.

-As a Tribal, Talvarr may be more inclined to reveal himself to those who share his more tribalistic nature, be they Keepers of the Moon or simply other fellow Viera.-If you wish to have Talvarr as your enemy, you could always roleplay as a poacher or something along those lines, that is surely something that will garner his attention when within the Black Shroud.-Fellow member of the Reyktur, the Reyktur are a homebrew village I personally made up, but I do not stake any claim to it, if anyone else wishes to make one with a similar birth village to Talvarr, we can always talk that one out.

Hello! This is the player behind Talvarr! Here I will add some OOC information to those that are interested:

-I am over 21 years , thusly I am fine with mature themes.-My schedule might be a bit wack, considering that I do not live in the states, but in Europe. I choose the NA servers because I prefer to RP in English.-I am very tolerant, if you ICly dislike my character or wish to antagonize him, that is fine with me, IC is IC and OOC is OOC, I ask that we agree to this.-One exception exists. Any attempt to actually kill or mutilate my character will require permission from me, if you only intend to beat him bruised and bloody, that is fine, no permission needed there, but permanent changes to my character are something I would like some form of say in.-If you wish to contact me outside of the game, my Discord is:
talvarr, though chances are that if I am not on the game, it probably means I am either at work or asleep and thusly not able to answer anyhow.
